Certifications
S.E.M. has completed the Canadian Healthcare Construction Course with the Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society.
With the Canadian Standards Association, S.E.M. has learned about “Fundamentals of Infection Control During Construction, Renovation, and Maintenance of Health Care Facilities.”
S.E.M. has trained with Access Safety to create an incident and injury free work environment.
The key elements of the system are cautionary labeling of containers of WHMIS “controlled products”, the provision of material safety data sheets (MSDSs) and worker education and training programs.
April 1, 2015, the OHSA was amended to include mandatory working at heights training requirements. The working at heights training is valid for three years from the date the worker completes an approved training program delivered by an approved training provider.
Our clients require security clearances to work on their job sites and The Government of Ontario security clearance is required for all trades interested in working on Infrastructure Ontario projects (Government of Ontario properties).
